Circular Motion
This project focused on the design and development of a high-end hospitality interior, with a strong emphasis on user experience, spatial flow, and material expression. I contributed from the early concept phase through to detailed design, developing spatial layouts, mood boards, and presentation visuals to communicate a cohesive design narrative. Research into materials, precedent studies, and client aspirations played a key role in shaping the outcome, ensuring that both aesthetic and functional goals were met.
Working collaboratively with the broader design team and external consultants, I prepared technical drawings and coordinated key packages, including FF&E selections and finishes. I also assisted in refining details to align with project budgets and regulatory standards. This project enhanced my confidence in navigating RIBA Stages 0–4 and reinforced my commitment to crafting thoughtful, contextually responsive spaces that blend design ambition with practical performance.

Connection & Interception
This project investigates the role of spatial proximity in shaping the atmosphere of social gatherings, particularly in relation to the placement of people around fireplaces. Drawing on proxemic theory, the design explores how intimate, personal, and social distances influence interactions and emotional engagement within a hospitality setting.
The arrangement of seating around the fireplace was carefully considered to enhance a sense of connection while preserving personal space. By modulating seating density and using materiality and lighting to create distinct zones, the design fosters an environment where the warmth of the fire encourages both communal interaction and individual comfort, contributing to the overall ambiance and experience of the space.
